Studio Rules:
Students must be 12 or older. Those under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Clay included. If bringing your own materials please make sure it is cone 6 or cone 05 clay and glazes.
Only pieces created during class or open studio time will be fired in the included price, unless otherwise arranged with the instructor.
Any work left behind for more than 60 days may be discarded without notice.
Do not sweep the floor or sand pieces inside, as this releases particulates in the air. When sanding outside, use proper PPE. (Respirator, gloves, eye protection, etc)
No loading, unloading, or otherwise handling the kiln(s) by the students.
You must clean your space and put away all tools before leaving for the day, unless the instructor says otherwise.
Please recognize that pottery is an art, and clay can be a fickle beast; I cannot guarantee that your pieces will come out the way that you envision, or that they will survive all the stages of the making process. I will always do my best to provide the best environment for success.
